Originally established In 2018, the National Amputee Golf Association created a Hall of Fame for its membership. Induction into the Hall of Fame is based on performance by its members at the National and Senior Amputee Golf Tournaments. Points are awarded to tournament champions, top ten finishers, top three finishers in each flight, and players participating in the International Cup matches. As of 2018, 8 players had earned sufficient points to be inducted into the National Amputee Golf Association’s Hall of Fame, This list includes: Geoff Nicholas,
Bill Harding, Kim Moore, Dick Long, Corbin Cherry, Tim Vincent, Patrice Cooper and Kenny Green. |
Starting in 2023, the Hall of Fame was renamed to the Craig Van Kessel award in honor and recognition of Craig's dedication to NAGA. Each year a new recipient will be named to this list who best exemplifies Craig's selfless work towards improving NAGA and amputee golf.
