Applicants are to be an amputee or the immediate family member (this includes the Mother, Father, Sibling, Grandchild an amputee that lives in the United States that will be attending an accredited college or university within the United States.
Applicants will need to complete the application in the link below and attach a cover letter, a letter of recommendation from a teacher or mentor and their current high school or college transcripts.
The scholarship will award a maximum of 2 students each year, a $500 scholarship (a maximum of $1000 awarded annually). Individual scholarship winners will remain eligible to be awarded this scholarship for 4 years. Each year any applicates will need to submit documentation his or her continuing education each year with a letter of intent and copy of their transcripts to the NAGA Board. Scholarship applications will close on August 1st, and we will not accept any applications submitted after 11:59 CMT on August 1st. Winners will be notified prior to the announcement of the scholarship at the NAGA Annual Dinner.
